Each year, the Mates in Mind Impact Awards aim to celebrate our Supporters contributions to improving mental health within their workplaces and across the wider sector.

The awards highlight the impact of both large and SME organisations across the UK, as well as acknowledging individuals who have championed the development of mentally healthy workforces.

The Wiles Award

"In memory of my husband Chris, I was delighted to present this year’s winner of The Wiles Award. It makes me feel proud and happy to know there is so much awareness happening in the workplace by individuals that clearly go above and beyond to help raise awareness of mental health and help reduce the stigma of mental ill-health in the workplace.

By starting conversations about mental health, we encourage people to open up about their struggles, it helps create a more supportive environment in which preventative measures can be put in place. The Wiles Award recognises those who go above and beyond in their efforts to help others, and in doing so, it helps to foster a culture of compassion and understanding that can help prevent tragedies in the future. The Wiles Award looks to recognise those who champion the importance of positive mental health, support others and spot the signs when someone could be struggling, which could just save a life."
