Getting you back to work
Fit for Work offers advice on your return to work. It may be appropriate for you to have workplace adjustments and adaptations to ease you back in; for example, alternative work, reduced hours or a workplace mentor for a while. If you have a disability, you may be eligible to an Access to Work grant.
If your work is being affected by depression, anxiety, stress or other mental health issues then Remploy, in partnership with Access to Work, can assist you. They offer a free and confidential Mental Health Support Service available to anyone with a mental health condition who is absent from work or finding work difficult. It is aimed at helping you remain in, or return to, work.
If you’ve been off work with stress or any other mental health problem, you may find it helpful to update your Wellness Action Plan with recovery planning.
