The Mates in Mind Impact Awards aim to celebrate our Supporters contributions to improving mental health within their workplaces and across the wider sector.
The awards highlight the impact of both large and SME organisations across the UK, as well as acknowledging individuals who have championed the development of mentally healthy workforces.

Mates in Mind's Impact Awards celebrate those driving meaningful and long-lasting change across UK workplaces. Apply now if you would like the opportunity to:
- Be recognised for your organisation's efforts to transform mental wellbeing
- Raise awareness by starting the conversation and through this help to tackle the stigma and silence around mental ill-health
- Educate other organisations about how to address mental ill-health, by showcasing the measures you have taken and their impact within your workforce and the wider industry.
Who can enter?
Access to the Impact Awards is exclusive to our Supporters. Supporters can submit applications for the 2020 scheme as an organisation, as a particular site or as an individual.
Applications for the Impact Awards are free, places on the night are subject to a fee.
Categories
Best overall workplace mental health programme
These Impact Awards are open to SME, Large size organisations and Projects which have improved mental health support and shown meaningful impact amongst its workforce. As well as showing commitment to improve mental wellbeing across the their industry more broadly.
Individual award for workplace mental health lead
These Impact Awards are open to individuals from SME, Large size organisations and Projects who have had an outstanding and direct impact on improving the understanding of mental health and support amongst their workforce, as well as across others in their industry more broadly.
Senior leadership engagement award
These Impact Awards are open to Senior Leadership from SME, Large size organisations and Projects who have shown inspirational leadership that has made a meaningful impact on the understanding and support for mental health amongst its workforce, as well as across their industry more broadly.
Best workplace Mental Health Team award
These Impact Awards are open to mental health teams from SME, Large size organisations and Projects who has driven meaningful impact and support improving understanding and mental health support amongst its workforce, as well as across the their industry sector more broadly.
How to enter
Applicants for the 2020 Impact Awards will need to complete four short questions using our online application form and may additionally provide further supporting material.

Last year, our awards gala dinner evening was held in conjunction with the British Safety Council’s International Safety Awards at the Grosvenor House hotel in London, in early April.
