Time to Talk Day 2020
Let's Talk, Let's Act.
On Thursday 6 February, Mates in Mind will be raising awareness about Time To Talk Day 2020.
This year we are encouraging everyone to take the opportunity to start the conversation about mental health.
When we improve awareness and education around mental health, we can change the way we tackle it too. Even the shortest conversation can have a huge positive impact.
If a workforce has the awareness and understanding of how and where they can get support, in an environment where they feel listened to and treated with respect, they will feel more empowered to get the support they need.
Supporting managers to drive change
Our Let's talk. Let's act. Managers guide is aimed at managers but can be shared with your entire workforce, and enable them to begin crucial conversations about mental health in the workplace, as well as to take action to improve it.
Managers play a crucial role in the culture and processes of our workplaces, and therefore have an important part to play in addressing the challenge that mental ill-health in work poses.
Spot the signs, and start the conversation
Our free Spotting the signs infographic is available for download and can be used in online or print versions to raise awareness about mental ill-health. This way your workforce will know how some signs to look out for if they think they should reach out.
