Role: Organisational Psychologist

Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum

Location: Remote within the UK with regular travel

About the role

As our Organisational Psychologist, you will play a key role in shaping and strengthening the Mates in Mind programme, making sure it continues to reflect the latest evidence and best practice in organisational psychology, behavioural science, workplace culture and mental health.

You will work closely with member organisations to understand where they are now, identify what may be holding them back and help them turn insight into practical action. This includes providing evidence-based support, developing new resources and interventions, and using programme data, member feedback, and emerging research to continuously improve our offer and demonstrate meaningful impact.

What you will bring

• Strong knowledge of psychological safety and workplace culture assessment.
• Experience delivering organisational development, culture change, behavioural change or workplace mental health programmes.
• Experience providing consultancy, advisory or facilitation support to organisations.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting organisational reviews, assessments or diagnostics.
• The ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong project and programme management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Professional membership of a relevant body.
• Experience using AI tools to support research, analyse data, improve efficiency and develop evidence-based resources and interventions.

Desirable experience

• Experience working within construction, transport, manufacturing, charity, membership or the not-for-profit sector.
• Experience in programme evaluation, organisational culture or leadership development.
